Small airplane makes emergency landing at Bradley Airport; no injuries reported

A small airplane made an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport on Thursday afternoon, an airport spokesperson said, but the incident has not led to any reported injuries.

Ryan Tenny, a spokesperson for Bradley, said that a Piper Aerostar was en route to Bradley when, at 1:12 p.m., it reported some type of landing gear issue. The plane — which was carrying two passengers — was then rerouted to Worcester Airport before being rerouted again to Bradley.

The plane then made an emergency landing at Bradley Airport at 1:35 p.m., Tenny said. The plane landed with its landing gear up.
