After 12-12 campaign during the conference season, UConn baseball claimed six American Athletic Conference Postseason honors. Reliever Jake Wallace was a unanimous pick for the All-Conference first team along with starter Mason Feole and shortstop Anthony Prato. Infielders Christian Fedko, outfielder John Toppa and swiss army knife Mike Woodworth were tabbed for the All-Conference second team.
Wallace is having one of the best seasons for any reliever in the country, limiting opponents to just a .151 batting average against. He has only allowed three runs all season in 34.2 innings of work while striking out 52.
Despite missing an early part of the season with a triceps injury, Feole returned in time for conference play and settled in recently, reaching the six-inning, 10+ strikeout mark in back-to-back outings prior to this past weekend at Tulane.
