Police said they are trying to find out why someone fired a gun at a driver in Enfield Thursday night.
The driver wasn’t injured, they said, although the 2006 Honda Accord he was driving had three bullet holes in it.
Gunfire rang out in the Thompsonville section of town about 10:30 p.m., prompting a flurry of 911 calls, Lt. Thomas Foy said. Officers responded and found the shot up, broken down Honda at the intersection of Prospect and High streets.
Police called the owner, who said he had loaned the car to a friend. They talked to the friend, and he said he was OK and nobody was injured, Foy said.
