No one was injured during the gunfire, which broke out about 11:15 a.m. on Kimberly Lane.
Police said officers heard shots being fired while they were on patrol nearby on Main Street. They were trying to find out where the sound had come from when dispatchers started receiving 911 calls about the gunfire. Police learned the shots were fired into 38 Kimberly Lane.
They said several shots were fired. The gunfire is not believed to be random; the house was targeted, police said.
They have no description of the vehicle from which the shots were fired and are seeking surveillance video.
