A second case of measles was confirmed in Fairfield County Friday, marking not only the second case within the month, but also in the state of Connecticut since 2019, the Department of Public Health (DPH) said.
On April 9, the DPH announced a child contracted the disease after traveling abroad. Another child who was a “household contact,” is now the second case of measles in the Connecticut in the last two years, the DPH said.
