ESPN New York’s Ian Begley reported that former UConn Men’s Basketball guard Rodney Purvis has agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with the Orlando Magic and that he is “likely headed to D League.”
Purvis’ deal has an Exhibit 10 clause, which means that the Magic can convert his contract to a two-way deal, which is what former teammate Daniel Hamilton signed with Oklahoma City in August. Should Orlando exercise that clause, which they must do before the start of the NBA season, he can spend up to 45 days on the NBA roster.
