UConn legend Rebecca Lobo was named as an inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame Saturday morning.
Lobo was a co-captain on the 1995 National Championship team, the first of six undefeated national champions for Geno Auriemma and the Huskies.
Lobo graduated from UConn after that season averaging 16.9 points, fifth in program history, and 10.1 rebounds per game. She was also named National Player of the Year as a senior and was a two-time First Team All-American.
The Southwick, Massachusetts native was a member of the inaugural Huskies of Honor class and also on the 1996 Olympic team which won the gold medal.
