Four Bridgeport gang members have been charged with with three murders and four attempted murders in a federal racketeering indictment that ties them to a year of gun fights among rival gangsters competing for drug sales on the city’s north and east sides.
The indictment is part of on-going investigations by local, state and federal law enforcement targeting drug-driven violence in cities like Bridgeport and Hartford. Twenty one Bridgeport gang members were charged in 2020.
The young men charged in the murders and attempted murders are Keishawn Donald, 19; Trevon Wright, 19; Kyran Dangerfield, 24; and Eric Hayes, 24.
