Win streak or none, the team is moving in 2016 to Hartford as the Yard Goats, and Solomon gave his first-inning pitch to the downtown business community Tuesday. To make this venture work in a $56 million ballpark, the Goats need some serious corporate support.
They're selling naming rights, founding partnerships, leadership packages and smaller sponsorships. They're dangling stadium signs inside and out, 18 luxury boxes with 24 seats each, and, most important, a place in the capital city's renaissance.
