Police: South Windsor robber held up store in Winsted, too

Police said they arrested a man in an armed robbery in South Windsor after linking him to a similar holdup more than 30 miles away.

Tequan Colvin, 27, of Wakefield Circle in East Hartford was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon, breach of peace and threatening, police said. He remains in custody on $350,000 bail, which includes his bond for charges stemming from a robbery in Winsted.

The South Windsor robbery happened in February at the Valero gas station and convenience store, 180 Sullivan Ave.
