Jason Ventura, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Tuesday crash; survivors were taken to area hospitals, police said.
The collision, which involved a car and a pickup truck, happened about 11:10 p.m. in the area of 1591 Highland Avenue, or Route 10, they said. A regional team of crash investigators, the Central Naugatuck Valley Regional Accident Investigation Team, continues to investigate.
