HAMDEN — Police in Hamden said they are investigating a shooting in an apparent robbery early Friday evening that injured a 22-year-old West Haven man parked in his vehicle on West Easton Street.
The man, who police did not identify, was talking with a friend at 4:30 p.m. when five males got out of a silver vehicle parked nearby and approached the shooting victim’s vehicle, each carrying a firearm.
Police said the friend fled on foot but stopped when he heard gunshots. The friend was then confronted by two of the five males, who pointed their guns at him.
