A man who police said killed another driver in August when he slammed head-on into his car at more than 100 mph was charged with manslaughter Friday.
Police said Rolando Vilorio, 24, of Torrington was street racing. In addition to first-degree manslaughter, he was charged with first-degree assault, reckless driving, failure to drive in the right-hand lane, improper passing and evading responsibility.
He also was charged with interfering with police because after he fled the scene of the deadly collision, he left the state, police said.
