The Hartford area is on the verge of breaking the record for consecutive November days at unusually warm temperatures.
The temperature at Bradley International Airport was expected to reach the mid-70s Monday, which would make it the fifth day in a row at 70 degrees or higher, the National Weather Service said. The record is four days.
The Hartford area could even experience seven consecutive days of temperatures at 70 or higher, NWS meteorologists said, but temperatures will get closer to normal at the end of the week.
Hartford already broke a record for November warmth on Saturday, meteorologist Glenn Field said: The thermometer hit 79 degrees, which broke the record of 74 set on Nov.
