Norwalk police on Tuesday arrested two city police officers who were found together in a hotel while they were supposed to be on patrol, police said.
Officers Michael Dimeglio and Sara Laudano turned themselves in at the police station. Laudano, 31, was charged with second-degree larceny, second-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a child. Dimeglio, 38, was charged with second-degree larceny and second-degree reckless endangerment. Police would not offer further details on the charges Tuesday night.
On Oct. 10, both officers were supposed to be on patrol duty, but at 12:47 a.m., a dispatcher could not raise Laudano on the police radio or on her cell phone, police said.
