After Norwalk police arrested a local man in November and charged him with sexual assaulting a child, they continued investigating and found evidence that the man had been assaulting the child for several years. Now, the man is facing additional charges.
Police initially arrested 27-year-old Joan Michael Chacua-Diaz in November and charged him with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, according to online court documents. In some documents, police also referred to the man as Joan Michael Chacua.
At the time, The Connecticut Post reported that Chacua-Diaz was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
