They believe a man is holding a woman at gunpoint inside a Henry Street home, Capt. Anthony Duff said Thursday morning. The situation has been unfolding since about 3:30 a.m.
The department’s SWAT and Hostage Negotiation Team are on the scene, he said, and people are asked to avoid Henry Street, Dixwell Avenue and Orchard Street.
