Police are looking for a gunman who they said fired into a car with a family in it, including a 2-year-old, in New Haven Tuesday, wounding the mother.
The woman, 23, was released from Yale-New Haven Hospital after being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, police said Wednesday.
The shooting happened about 4:45 p.m. in the Fair Haven neighborhood when the family of three — the mother, father and toddler — stopped on Maltby Place near a relative’s house, police said.
