New Canaan police: Thieves stole $25,000 worth of jewels

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the thieves who they say stole $25,000 worth of jewelry from a New Canaan shop.

Three burglars broke into Manfredi Jewels, 72 Elm St., about 1:45 a.m. Monday by smashing the glass front door, police said. A fourth stayed outside.
