After beating Georgia Tech, 7-6, in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament's Gainesville Regional, UConn moved into the winner's bracket to face Florida at 6 p.m. for the right to go to the regional final on Sunday.
UConn has stayed hot and is now 14-1 in its last 15 games after the close finish Friday against the Yellow Jackets.
Florida defeated Bethune-Cookman by a score of 9-3 Friday night, having won four out of its last five games. They will be sending a potential #1 overall pick in next week's MLB Draft to the hill in AJ Puk.
