BOSTON — Sunglasses, backward cap, sweater tied around his waist, Tom Brady emerged Monday from behind the huge American flag draped over the left field wall at Fenway Park. Brady was joined in the march to the pitcher's mound by Robert Kraft, Jonathan Kraft and Bill Belichick. Together, they carried the Patriots' four Lombardi trophies as Super Bowl champions.
"It's the first time I've been here for Opening Day," Mookie Betts said after he immediately stole the show from the show. "The ceremony, all the stuff, it was great."
Brady, drafted 20 years ago as a catcher by the Montreal Expos, wound up for the ceremonial first pitch and just as all New England was ready to proclaim, "Yes!
