Law enforcement in Hampshire County, W. Va. has closed its search for 14-year-old West Hartford resident Jonathan Adams after finding what they believe to be his remains in a wooded area.
Jonathan, who lived in West Hartford but had been visiting family in West Virginia, was first reported missing last Sunday morning. Police said the discovered his remains Saturday morning “in a heavily wooded area” near where he was reported missing.
The sheriff’s office said in a release that a 16-year-old relative of Jonathan’s has been arrested and charged with burglary but did not say whether that arrest was connected with Jonathan’s death.
