Someone pretending to be an employee of the Metropolitan District (MDC) tried to get into a Hartford home Monday, the MDC said.
Some of the precautions MDC has laid out include to be on the look out for MDC uniforms and vehicles marked with its logo, ask for an identification badge prior to entry or call its command center at 860-278-7850 and press 1 to verify an employee’s identity.
