A well-known Maryland restaurateur and son of former U.S. Rep. Sam Gejdenson, the longtime Democratic representative of the 2nd District, remained hospitalized Tuesday, four days after Guilford police announced he had been taken into custody while trying to harm himself and a child on a set of train tracks.
Ari Gejdenson, 38, is expected to be charged with five offenses, including risk of injury and first-degree reckless endangerment, upon his release from the hospital but few other details about the case have been made public.
Neither he nor the child were injured during the incident but both were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, police said over the weekend.
