Chris DiPentima, whose family owned the high-profile aerospace supplier Pegasus Manufacturing in Middletown before it was sold in 2016, is the new president and chief executive of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association.
DiPentima now serves as president of the aerospace division of Missouri-based Leggett & Platt, which includes the operations of Pegasus, and he served as chairman of CBIA, the state’s largest business services and lobbying organization, in 2018-2019. His appointment as president and chief executive was confirmed by CBIA’s board of directors Thursday.
“We face unprecedented challenges in the coming months, but they are challenges that we can overcome through greater collaboration between the private and public sectors,” DiPentima said, in a release.
