A Manchester man accused of running a wholesale drug ring has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl.
Mike Cruz, 31, was sentenced Thursday in New Haven to 60 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, who also ordered Cruz to pay a $10,000 fine.
Also known as “Mega” and Mike Flores, Cruz was indicted in February 2020 after an investigation concluded he had been moving wholesale quantities of multiple types of drugs through his Elm Street apartment, court records show.
