One man was shot in the stomach Thursday night near Hartford’s Parkville neighborhood, the fourth person to be injured in a shooting in the capital city in 24 hours.
The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. Thursday near 30 Belmont St. and Major Crimes Division detectives remained on the scene late into the night. Further information about the incident and victim was not immediately available.
Three people were hurt in apparently unrelated shootings on Wednesday evening just blocks apart on Upper Albany.
Those shootings happened simultaneously near Albany Avenue’s intersections with Burton and Garden street, but appeared to be separate and unrelated incidents despite being just four blocks apart, Cicero said.
