For the second time in two weeks, police are investigating a daytime shooting on Wadsworth Street in Hartford.
A man was shot in his leg in the area of 26 Wadsworth St., Lt. Paul Cicero said late Tuesday morning. He was alert when officers arrived at the scene.
Wadsworth Street, which sits between downtown Hartford and Hartford Hospital, was the scene of another shooting in broad daylight on Oct.22. In that case, the victim survived.
The Oct. 22 shooting was one of two in 12 hours during a surge of gun violence in the summer and early fall.
