Called to 20 John St. at 3:51 p.m. on a report of gunshots, police found a man dead in the driveway, police spokesman Lt. David Silverio said. The victim appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head, Silverio said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
Release of the victim’s name is pending confirmation by the state Chief Medical Examiner’s office and notification of next of kin, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 203-574-6941.
