A man died after a fall from a window during a Bridgeport drug bust Wednesday night, state police said.
Western District detectives from the state police are investigating the 49-year-old’s death, which they are calling “suspicious.”
The man died after a Bridgeport police tactical narcotics team went into an apartment on Chestnut Street to serve a search warrant. Members of the unit went into the apartment about 10:30 p.m. and were inside for a short period of time before an officer looked out an open window and noticed that a man was lying on the ground, state police said.
