Police said they have charged a man with murder in the stabbing death of a Middletown woman in June.
William Bigaud Jr., 37, fled the state after the domestic violence stabbing on June 8, they said. Authorities found Bigaud in Georgia two days later and took him into custody.
Detectives picked him up at the federal courthouse in New Haven Thursday. Besides murder, he was charged with home invasion and risk of injury to a child, police said.
