Antwan Rufus, 33, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal attempt to commit assault, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and commission of an A, B or C felony with a firearm.
The shooting, that took place near Maplewood Terrance around 10:45 p.m. on April 28, didn’t injure anyone, but “a number of people were in the area,” police said.
“Rufus is in the custody of the Department of Corrections (DOC) for his involvement in a separate shooting incident on May 1, 2021 (Williams Street) where one person was injured,” police said.
