The accolades keep rolling in for Capital Prep of Hartford basketball star Kiah Gillespie, who on Friday was named a member of the prestigious Parade All-American girls high school basketball team.
Gillespie, a 6-foot-2 forward who was The Courant's player of the year for 2014-15, was one of 30 high school seniors recognized. She had previously been named the Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year and is headed to Maryland to continue her career.
