Kia Nurse makes history as part of NBA’s first-ever all-women broadcast

Former UConn women’s basketball star and current Phoenix Mercury guard Kia Nurse made history earlier this week. Nurse served as the color analyst for Wednesday’s Raptors-Nuggets game, with Meghan McPeak on play-by-play, Kayla Grey handling sideline duty and Kate Beriness and Amy Audibert handling the in-game studio show on TSN’s Sportscentre. Together, the five women successfully delivered the NBA’s first-ever all-women broadcast.

Nurse, who works as an analyst at TSN in her home country of Canada during the WNBA, offseason, looked comfortable as ever breaking down the game, even sliding in a few hometown references for those watching up north.
