Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fatal fire in a commercial building early last month in Middletown.
The building at 311 Main Street Extension went up in flames early the morning of April 5 and it took several crews most of the night to extinguish the fire, officials said at the time.
The building was heavily damaged from the fire with a large amount of the debris and it was only the next day, while crews used an excavator to sift through the rubble, that police and firefighters discovered a body, Lt. Heather Desmond said.
