Hartford police, with help from state and federal investigators, towed a car from a West Hartford home Wednesday morning in hopes it holds evidence from a 2007 double murder.
City detectives, working with the cold case investigators from the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office and the FBI, received new information in the case that led to them obtaining a search warrant for 25 Barton St. in West Hartford, Lt. Aaron Boisvert said.
The unsolved case is the double murders of Kent McLaurin and Xion Davidson in the capital city, he said.
