A Hartford teen was arrested in connection to a Meriden accident Monday afternoon after state police say she failed a sobriety test and was driving in the wrong lane.
Alma Robledo, 19, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, traveling the wrong way on a highway and operating without a license. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Around 1:20 p.m., Robledo was driving South on the Northbound Route 15 lane near Meriden. The vehicle collided head on with a car traveling on the highway, but neither driver reported injuries, state police said.
“It was determined while on scene [Robledo] was under the influence of drugs after she admitting to smoking marijuana prior to operating her vehicle,” state police added.
