A Hartford police officer was injured late Friday in connection with an incident in the area of Maple Avenue in the South End.
The officer was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment, but police did not describe the cause or extent of the officer’s injuries.
An investigation was ongoing around 11 p.m. Friday night near the intersection of Maple and Franklin avenues near Retreat Street, police said.
