A Hartford man was arrested early Thursday morning after he reportedly brandished a gun out the window of his car on Wethersfield Avenue.

When officers located him a few minutes later, they discovered he had in his car crack cocaine, a handgun and a 16-year-old girl reported missing by her mother in Bristol, police said.

Ronald Cooke, 52, was arrested and charged with a half-dozen offenses and the girl was returned to her mother, Lt. Paul Cicero said.

Police initially were dispatched just before 2:30 a.m. near Wethersfield Avenue and Elliott Street for a report that the driver of a gray Honda Accord brandished a gun.
