Hartford police caught four teenagers in stolen cars in a 24-hour from Wednesday to Thursday, including one 17-year-old who was arrested twice — in two different stolen cars — just 4 1/2 hours apart.
That teen was the first arrested at about 8 p.m. Wednesday when an officer pulled over the Volvo S80 he was driving near 305 Greenfield St. in the city’s North End, police said.
The officer discovered the car had been reported stolen from Farmington Avenue earlier day, so the 17-year-old driver was detained, police said. Four passengers in the car were not charged but the teen was issued a juvenile summons and released to a guardian.
