Hartford HealthCare, the parent of Hartford Hospital and six others in Connecticut, said Wednesday it will provide campus health services to Connecticut College in New London, and the health system will help direct a program of testing for coronavirus infection as students move into campus.
“This is a unique moment, with COVID-19 and what’s occurring across the world today, the impact on our colleges and our campuses is enormous,” Jeffrey A. Flaks, Hartford HealthCare’s president and chief executive, said. “Sensitivity around infectious disease and how our college campuses need to rework to operate and how they ensure the safety and protection of everyone on their campuses is very critical.
