Hartford area breaks records for warm weather in November, cooler temps on the way

The Hartford area broke at least five records for warmth this month, but the unseasonable temperatures are fading fast.

Bradley International Airport broke daily records for high temperatures on Saturday, Nov. 7; Tuesday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Nov. 11, according to Torry Gaucher, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

All three of those days, the temperature was in the 70s, and on two of them it was above 75.

“The average highs this time of year is typically in the 50s, so it goes to tell you how warm this recent weather was,” Gaucher said.
