Groton Town Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man with non-life threatening injuries.
Groton Town Police said they received a phone call around 4 a.m. Sunday from a New London police officer who was at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Room for an unrelated incident and learned of a gunshot victim. Police said the officer learned that the shooting incident had occurred in Groton.
Officers from the Groton Town patrol division responded to the hospital where they learned of one victim, a 27 year old male, with a single gunshot wound to the arm, police said.
