EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants have signed four players – including two with ties to Connecticut - who came to a rookie camp last weekend on a tryout basis.
The team announced Monday it had signed Middletown, Conn., native Will Tye, a tight end out of Stony Brook, and Southern Connecticut State defensive tackle Carlif Taylor, as well as running back Kenneth Harper of Temple and wide receiver Ben Edwards of Richmond.
Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova attended the tryout but he was not signed.
