Officials are investigating a two-alarm apartment building fire in Hartford that displaced four people Wednesday.
No one was injured in the fire at 30 Woodland St., a 12-story high-rise in the Asylum Hill neighborhood, District Chief Mario Oquendo Jr. said.
The fire was called in at 5:51 p.m., and as soon as firefighters arrived, they called for a second team of firefighters and equipment, he said.
It was knocked down within 23 minutes and declared under control at 6:20 p.m., meaning the fire was no longer was spreading, Oquendo said.
The fire department’s Special Services Unit worked with the American Red Cross to find temporary housing for the four displaced adults, who are in two families.
