UConn will be represented in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics as former track star Phylicia George (‘10) will compete for Team Canada in the bobsled event.
With two-time Olympic champion Kallie Humphries as her partner, the Canadian duo is predicted by most outlets to come away with the gold medal. In bobsled, each team gets four runs and the team with the lowest aggregate (combined) time wins.
The first two runs are scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 20 at 6:50 a.m. (EST) with the third and fourth runs coming the next day at 6:40 a.m. The events can be watched online at NBCOlympics.
