Former UConn Soccer Star Erhardt Kapp to Enter Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame

The Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame recently announced its 2019 Hall of Fame class and among the six entering is former UConn soccer great Erhardt Kapp, a three-time All-American for the Huskies during a career that spanned from 1977-1980.

He will join a number of fellow UConn greats in the Hall of Fame, including Joseph J. Morrone and his two sons, Joe and Billy, the late Pedro DeBrito, Carlos Carlos, Elvis Comrie, Frantz Innocent, Tom Nevers and current men’s soccer coach Ray Reid.

During his time at UConn, Kapp was named the team MVP in 1978 and 1980 along with being named to the All-New England Team in 1978, 1979 and 1980.
