With the 2017 season less than six weeks away, UConn football head coach Randy Edsall continues to add depth at the skill positions and prepare for the future.
Kyle Buss, a 5-foot-10 wide receiver from Mechanicsville, New York, announced via Instagram that he will be transferring to UConn from Robert Morris. Prior to Robert Morris, Buss spent a season at Milford Academy and joined the Colonials as a three-star recruit according to Rivals in 2014.
After sitting out his first season, Buss made an immediate impact as a redshirt freshman, hauling in 50 catches for 742 yards and two touchdowns while adding 44 yards on 17 rushing attempts on his way to earning the 2015 Northeast Conference Offensive Rookie of the Year award and being named the All-NEC Second Team.
