The first Monday morning of 2021 could be a tricky one for drivers: Forecasters warn of 2 to possibly 5 inches of snow in Greater Hartford on Sunday night.
But the risk of ice appears pretty low, and warmer weather coming behind the storm means the snowfall probably won’t last much into the week.
The National Weather Service on Saturday was predicting a chance of snow and rain mixing on Sunday afternoon, but with little or no accumulation.
But by Sunday night, precipitation will turn to snow around Connecticut and build up 2 to 4 inches, the service said.
