The skeletal remains of a female were found in a state park in Watertown over the weekend, state police said.
Watertown officers called the state police about 8 p.m. Saturday and asked them to respond to Black Rock State Park, 2065 Thomaston Road, they said. Western District Major Crime detectives went to the scene.
It wasn’t clear where in the 444-acre park the remains were found, and no other information was available Monday morning.
